This is the first in a series of stories that will rewrite the films in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. These rewrites are rough outlines of the story and thus are bare bones, as if the screenwriter for the film were outlining it before actually writing the script. Because of this, the rewrite contains no dialogue, and only has modest descriptions of the film itself. In short, this is the skeleton of the film, without the meat.

Overarching ThemesEdit

The entire trilogy will deal with strong bonds between bothers Obi-Wan and Anakin, who though not related by blood, have a deep connection. Additionally, a secondary theme of coping with loss will be prevalent throughout the trilogy, while it will also serve as a primary theme in The Phantom Menace.

Large ChangesEdit

This rewrite shifts the focus of the film away from Anakin, and onto Obi-Wan. The entire trilogy will be seen through his eyes. Anakin is no longer a boy, and is about 17 years old. Padmé is no longer 14 (yes, she was intended to be fourteen in The Phantom Menace, even though Natalie Portman was 19 at the time) and is now about the same age as Anakin. Obi-Wan is in his early twenties and is close to finishing his training. Naboo has been renamed Alderaan in order to provide viewers with an emotional investment in the doomed planet, making its destruction in A New Hope have much more of an impact. With the villains, Maul does not die and is the main source of conflict for Obi-Wan throughout the entire trilogy. He replaces the Sith side of Dooku, as well as General Grievous in Episode III. Dooku is no longer a Sith, but still works for Palpatine as a government official, and is "in the know" about his Sith identity.

Opening CrawlEdit

After centuries of peace in the GALACTIC REPUBLIC, an anarchist organization known as LGFDSADFHJSLAGHF has been attacking hundreds of worlds across the galaxy. With the attacks frequent and widespread, the Jedi have been spread thin, barely able to combat LGFDSADFHJSLAGHF. Inability to keep the peace has created tensions in the GALACTIC SENATE, with many worlds questioning the Republic's current leadership.

As arguments over how to resolve the problem carry on in the Republic's capital world of CORUSCANT, Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and his padawan OBI-WAN KENOBI are sent to the planet of Alderaan to investigate a possible LGFDSADFHJSLAGHF assassination plot...
