There's a lot of Iron Man 3 news today so let's start this Marvel round up with some new details about the movie. Possible spoilers ahead so you might want to choose one of our other Iron Man 3 videos if you want to go into the movie totally fresh. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige previewed Iron Man 3 for MTV News as he talked about what we can expect from the threequel. We've already heard how deeply the events of The Avengers has affected Tony Stark's psyche and Feige explains that now Stark is afraid to be out of his suit. He said, "It's almost like post-traumatic stress: he really has retreated after the events of 'The Avengers' into his workshop, where he's building advanced versions of his suits. He has [designed] a version of the suit that can latch onto him in individual pieces ... anytime, anywhere. As he starts to realize, it's basically because he doesn't want to be out of the suit: he's seen a lot of things in 'Avengers' and has encountered a lot of powerful people, much more powerful than he is." Feige goes on to say how Tony needs to rediscover who he is as a Superhero, both in his suit and out of it. Unfortunately baddie The Mandarin won't give him time to do that. Feige says of the ring wearer, " The Mandarin is relentless: he's a non-stop threat, and you've seen that in the first teaser trailer when Tony Stark's house tumbles into the sea. He doesn't mess around, this guy." So what's next for Tony Stark after Iron Man 3? While Feige did admit that he's not thinking too far ahead and wants to get through Iron Man 3 and The Avengers 2 first, he does admit that Tony still has a lot more story to tell saying that they're going to take it one, or maybe two movies at a time. All of this getting you excited for the May 3 release? Well, for those of you hell bent on seeing the movie on IMAX, you're in luck! Iron Man 3 will be digitally re-mastered into IMAX and IMAX 3d format and will be released internationally starting on April 25 and domestically on May 3. This will be the 4th Marvel film to be viewed in IMAX theaters. Iron Man 2, Thor and The Avengers were all available in IMAX and no shocker here, broke theater records at the time. So what kind of movie action goodness will we be able to see in IMAX 3D? Well thanks to some nosey onlookers and amateur videos posted on Youtube we now know that one very popular LA tourist hot spot might not have survived the Mandarins evil plan. Last night Iron Man 3 took over Hollywood Blvd to shoot some additional scenes and re-shoots for the film and according to the Youtube videos, there was a lot of explosions, smoke, a car pile up and screaming. Tourist attraction TLC Chinese Theater, formally known as Grauman's Chinese Theater, is the latest causality in the Iron Man 3 film. We don't know the plot behind the explosions but we do know, courtesy of ScienceFiction.com, that director Shane Black filmed the scene using wide-angled shots from cranes positioned high overhead "to capture the full scope, color and liveliness of Hollywood" while they "blow up" the Theatre. We will put the Youtube links in the description box for you to check out. So there you have it, your Iron Man 3 news round up. Anything stand out to you? Tony's PTSD, Mandarins ruthlessness, Grauman's Chinese Theater reduced to rubble? May 3 can't come soon enough.
